Male are colour blind,A myth or a fact?

Colour blindness or color vision deficiency is a lessened ability to distinguish between certain colours.

A person may have this condition due to genetic inheritance from mother on the 23rd chromosome. 

Also it can be caused by eye diseases.Diseases and conditions such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis and a damaged eye retina as well as aging.

There are mythical concepts regarding to colour blindness such as;it is gender based affecting only men.Also it's believed that a colour blind person can't see colours.

Facts about colour blindness are;larger number of  men than women are affected by this condition.The condition affects approimately 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women in the world.

In the world of colours it's is very fascinating knowing intriguing facts about colour vision on animal and nature.
 
For example;Cat,dogs and rabbits are able to see mostly gray.While monkeys have strong color vision where else,bees and butterflies have superior vision and are able to have a perfect vision to colours humans can’t even see.

In red or green colour blindness,people can confuse between colours which are closely related.They may mix them as part of the whole colour.

For example;A person with red or green blindness would probably not be able to differentiate blue from purple because he/she can't see the red element of the purple colour.

Moreover some people,not all have an infrequent kind of color blindness known as unilateral dichromacy this implies that they have one normal colour vision eye,and one colour impared eye.

The same situation can arise across the whole colour variety acting on all browns, greens,reds, oranges, purples, pinks and greys.Also, sometimes black can be confused as dark green or dark blue.

In conclusion,a research shows that being unable to differentiate between certain different colours under normal lighting is associated with a condition known as colour blindness.Diseases, genetic inheritance and aging are linked to the condition.
